Hi,
I bought an audiobox USB a few weeks ago. I'm using Logic Pro with a MacBook Pro OSX Version 10.9.2, and a Nord Stage EX 88.
I'm pretty sure I've done everything as it was written in the audiobox's guide book, but the thing is that when I want to record an audio track on Logic, i'm unable to do it. For a few reasons:
1. First, the audio signal (I'm not english, i'm afraid not to be understood...) of the track is always at the maximum, like it's saturated. And I've hooked my headphones on the audiobox, I don't work with speakers. And in my headphones I only hear a huge crackling sound, like if you're trying to listen to the radio and you're on an unexistant frequency. And I can controle de volume of this sound thanks to the 'phones' and 'main' buttons on the audiobox. Do you know where does the problem come from?
2. Secondly, when I try to record an audio track, so I click on the recording button, and then it's the same crackling sound, with the audio signal at the maximum. Sometimes I can reduce this crackling sound and play the piano, so i hear it quite well. But then when I want to listen to the track I've recorded, the piano sound is really poor, it sounds like a really old piano, with no punch, and it still crackles.
I hope some of you have understand what I'm saying, and I hope you'll be able to help me! I would be really thankfull.

Are you using the latest version of the driver from the downloads site? The latest has fixed issues with the driver and incompatibility with certain intel processor macs.

Hi,
Well it's written this on presonus' website :
Message to Mac users: The AudioBox USB is a class compliant core audio device. No driver installation is necessary under OSX 10.4 or above. Simply plug in your AudioBox USB to a free USB port on your Mac, then select it in your preferred DAW and record.
Mine is OSX 10.9, so above 10.4. So far I haven't downloaded any driver, I thought it was not necessary.
So you mean the problem may come from the audiobox usb?

The problem comes from Macs running Mavericks (OS X 10.9) with certain USB chipsets. The driver fixes this, as does an update to OS 10.9.3 if you are not already there.

I'm getting persistent crackling too. Not using Logic Pro. Using Mac 10.10 and the crackles are now omnipresent even when I am not running software.

Audio 7 De Camionetas De Juguete

Ok so i've been getting everything fixed on my first 7. Now its time for the Logic 7 issues. When i first got the car i noticed that all speakers except for the ones on the driver side would turn on. The only one that does turn on, on the driver side is the rear driver door speaker and the subs. I also noticed that it would take up to 5 seconds for the subwoofers to turn on. I dont know if its the amp or the head unit. Im assuming the head unit is called the ASK. If it is the amp, where is it located?
